Vent-Axia Launches Heat Pump Division

vent axia heat pumpVent-Axia, leaders in energy efficient ventilation, has launched a heat pump division to complement its comprehensive Lo-Carbon™ ventilation range. Launching in May, the heat pump division is set to offer both ground source and air source heat pumps aimed at the domestic and light commercial markets.

Richard Paine has joined Vent-Axia’s new heat pump division as Product Marketing Manager. Richard has spent seven years working in the HVAC market and has extensive experience developing and marketing ventilation and heat pump products. Meanwhile, Cliff Arnold has been appointed Sales Manager of the new division. Cliff has spent the last five years in the renewables installation sector and has a vast knowledge of the heat pump industry.

“Against the backdrop of tackling climate change and maintaining secure energy supplies, it is imperative that we embrace renewable energy technology as part of a solution to reduce the demand for fossil fuels and in turn reducing the levels of CO2 emitted in the UK,” explains Richard Paine.

“Vent-Axia currently supplies many Lo-Carbon™ products into the marketplace; its heat pump range will complement products, such as the Sentinel Kinetic, as part of a whole house package of measures designed to reduce the energy consumption for the homeowner.”

“With the launch of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) in April 2011, renewables will become an increasingly attractive option for homeowners, specifiers and landlords. Heat pumps in combination with low carbon ventilation will make a valuable contribution to reducing the carbon produced by UK homes,” says Cliff Arnold.

The introduction of renewable energy products combined with the innovative Lo-Carbon™ ventilation range will offer specifiers and contractors unrivalled access to extensive technical advice, design and ventilation applications expertise. Vent-Axia’s aim will be to deliver low building energy consumption and work towards lowering carbon emissions.
