deif rmbA first in power control, DEIF’s new Remote Maintenance Box (RMB) enables you to service your substation without interrupting the power supply to your customers and limits exposure to risks.

Developed for safe maintenance and operation, the RMB will prove indispensable in scenarios that require the interface/operator panel to be located close to the connection points.

Prior to servicing, the load has to be transferred to the generator and the fuses safely removed. Following maintenance, the critical point is to determine when the fuses should be refitted.

To limit the risk of load jumps and phase displacement, connect the RMB to the Automatic Genset Controllers AGC-3 or AGC-4, featuring fast static phase angle synchronisation to keep the generator at 12 o’clock even at large load changes.

Real-life tests have shown that load changes up to 30% of the generator size only create a temporary angle difference of up to 11 electrical degrees.
