Furthermore the company erected an automated logistics center and a new customer information center. With more than 1000 employees Siemens produces over 70,000 gas-insulated switchgear panels for medium-voltage switchgear annually for more than 85 countries around the globe.

lewden universityLewden Electrical Industries was the preferred supplier when a bespoke feeder pillar distribution cabinet was required for a project at the University of Hertfordshire.

The installation, carried out by electrical/mechanical facilities company Neocrest, was to provide electrical power to student homes within the University Campus. As the original cast iron feeder pillars housing the cables had corroded severely over a period of years, this had caused earth continuity problems within the original installation.

ge SEN PlusThe SEN plus range of Low Voltage Switchgear Solutions is being re-launched following testing to incorporate the following new features.

The switchboard is now fully tested and compliant with IEC61439 and integrates the complete Entelliguard range of Air Circuit Breakers up to 6300A.

Furthermore the SEN plus range is now tested to 100kA and is also certified to IEC6164 for internal Arc Faults to limit the arc to the point of origin.
