WAGO has expanded the EPSITRON® power supply system within the PRO family to include single-phase power supply devices. 12Ah rechargeable battery modules and a high-performance charging unit have also been added to the system's uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Effective immediately, WAGO is also offering single-phase power supplies in the PRO Power Series.
The new power supplies (787-822 and 787-832) provide an adjustable voltage of 24VDC at the output, with an output current of either 5A or 10A. The two-stage power boost delivers up to 200% of the nominal output voltage for 4 s and up to 150% for an additional 2 s. This way, a frequently-encountered expensive oversizing of the power supply is avoided. The integrated TopBoost also provides a multiple of the nominal current for 25ms so that cost-effective circuit breakers can be used to protect load circuits. With an efficiency factor of up to 92% and the remote controlled stand-by mode, the new single-phase EPSITRON® PRO Power Supplies set new standards when it comes to saving energy.
The uninterruptible power supplies in the EPSITRON UPS family provide extensive protection against power failures and thus system failures. They consist of a charger and controller as well as one or more rechargeable battery modules. The rechargeable battery modules are available in three capacities: in addition to 3.2Ah and 7Ah, now also 12Ah (787-873). TogetherTogether with the charger and controller up to 10A and recently up to 20A (787-875), EPSITRON® UPS units reliably provide the required power for several hours. The charger and controller guarantee an optimized, temperature-controlled charging process, thus extending the life of the rechargeable battery, which in turn minimizes the maintenance required. The UPS module supports a complete current and voltage monitoring and features numerous signaling options via display and RS-232 interface.
