 Din-rail power supply manufacturer PULS UK has announced the launch of its latest Q-series single-phase unit, the 1 Kw QS40. As with other PULS devices the new 40Amp unit is remarkably compact measuring only 125 x 124 x 127 mm and weighing in at a featherweight 1.5 kg making it one of the smallest and lightest units on the market.

 New 12V and 24V power supplies for the lower performance ranges up to 30W have been developed by the Siemens Industry Automation Division. The new Sitop PSU100C units of the Sitop compact product line feature a slim-line, space-saving design with a wide-range input for single-phase AC and DC networks. One of their main characteristics is low energy consumption – for example due to no-load losses and high efficiency even in partial-load operation.

PULS UK Gains ATEX Approval for Q-series Power Supplies |

 PULS UK, the world’s leading manufacturer of DIN rail power supplies has been granted ATEX approval for a selection of its single phase Q-series units, allowing them to be used in potentially explosive environments.
The units have been tested to EN 60079 – 15 and are approved for use in zone 2 hazardous systems category 3G. PULS says no electrical changes were necessary to achieve the approval and that the Standard had been met in essence by dual conformal coating the internal components of the units.

 Leading power supply manufacturer PULS UK has announced the launch of its latest Q-series unit. The super-compact QT 40 measures only 110 x 124 x 127mm and weighs in at a mere 1.5 kg, making it the smallest 40Amp, 3-phase power supply on the market. First shipments are expected early in 2010.
