Riello UPS, one of Europe's largest UPS manufacturers, has unveiled its latest power protection products for critical applications.

Brand new to the Riello UPS range is the MultiGuard; a modular three/three phase double-conversion Uninterruptible Power Supply ideal for data centres, servers and other IT applications. In this scalable system, each module has an individual power capacity of 15kVA, and a standard cabinet can be fitted with up to 8 modules to reach 120kVA; delivering the best combination of reliability, functionality and hot-swap flexibility.

The Flywheel Energy Storage device provides a green, clean source of back-up power by converting the kinetic energy stored within a rotating mass into electrical power. Designed for a variety of applications (including hospitals, IT and industry) the VDC series of Flywheel Energy Storage systems provides a Riello UPS with a source of DC power that can be used to ride through short duration disturbances, cover a generator start-up, or protect a battery set.
