Legrand has supplied wiring devices and cable management solutions for a £25million new build school in London – an order won primarily on the quality of its products.
When the order was confirmed it was clear this confidence had been well-placed. The specification was extensive and comprised Synergy White wiring devices including grid solutions, metal clad wiring devices and Hypra sockets, plus over 2km of Salamandre trunking, Swifts ladder, perforated tray and wire tray, and DLP Contour perimeter trunking.
John Allen, a TSSR project manager, said: “Our reputation is for quality installations and we demand the products and systems we use are of a quality that enhances this reputation.
“Legrand came to us with an excellent selection of products that met our stringent criteria. Add to that the fact they provided us with an ability to deal with one company for so many aspects of the installation and it really was an easy choice to go with them.”
Colin Ball added: “When you look at just how much of this electrical installation is covered by our solutions it’s hard to understand why Legrand isn’t instantly associated with total electrical solutions.”
“That said, with a little more awareness I’m sure many more specifiers and contractors will quickly appreciate our across the board expertise and the benefits of dealing with just one manufacturer for all elements of an installation.”
