When you leave for your holiday it’s important that everything on the destination is arranged perfectly. But at least equally important is leaving your house/possessions behind with ease of mind.
The police provide some guidelines: - Ask neighbours to park there car on your driveway now and then - Prevent an overstocked mailbox. - Turn off gas and water - Close all windows and doors and hide keys and spare keys - Store away ladders and garden tools - Have plants inside and outside taken care off - Don’t place messages anywhere stating: “We are on holiday until August 3rd.” - Don’t participate in online/phone surveys about your travelling plans - Don’t mention that you are on holiday on your answering machine
Marmitek would like to add one more point to this: Let your shutters go down and up automatically during your absence
