The FDB11 and FDB13 electrical protection units from FDB Electrical comprise a complementary series of general purpose earth leakage protection equipment, complete with overload and short circuit protection & are approved by Network Rail for use in DC Electrified Line Areas.

The FDB11/13 series features solid state electronic circuitry for stability and immunity from spurious tripping, the range features different permutations of rating in voltage ranges of single and 3 phase 110V, 250V, 380/440V TP&N, 50Hz-400Hz and current ratings of 10A to 60A. Rated tripping currents of 20 mA, 30 mA and 100 mA are available dependent upon application. Integral RCD is to BS/4293 where applicable and MCB to BSEN/60898 (Type C Characteristic).

Standard units are supplied in steel, surface mounting enclosures to IP20 protection with RCD test button and MCB toggle accessible at front, other types of enclosures available.
