New Homes Planned For Bradford By WYG |

WYG has secured outline planning for 155 new homes to be created in Queensbury, Bradford.
The application was submitted on behalf of Prime Properties Investment Ltd and will provide a mixture of two-bed apartments and two, three and four-bed semi-detached, detached and terraced houses.
Paul Shuker, Associate, WYG said: “Through extensive liaison with the Bradford City Council, the scheme delivers many benefits not only for Prime Properties Investment but also for the Council, with new private capital secured towards new school places and local parks, the development will ensure that future growth can be systematically sustained. As well as the new high quality open market and affordable homes the scheme will deliver a much needed road solution at no public cost.
“The project will help secure £1.3m from the emerging New Homes Bonus – as part of the coalition government’s latest initiative to encourage new housing development.”
The scheme will contribute to the local planning authority’s five-year housing target and has secured £420,000 of private contributions to deliver much needed social infrastructure. A further £1.6m of subsidy has been provided by the applicant for new affordable homes to be built for the local community.
