t-mac Technologies Ltd. launches two new cutting-edge products, further enhancing the effectiveness and functionality of its existing product range, t-mac has recently added a ‘Weather Feed’ feature to its online software suite alongside its new-look ‘Energy Analysis’ software.

The new Weather Feed feature enables users to enter the postcode for their site and easily view the local weather conditions. The Weather Feed takes data aggregated from weather stations around the world providing accurate predictions on temperature, humidity, chance of rain, and cloud cover, all of which are important factors to consider when analysing energy consumption and comparing time-periods.

Using an astronomical clock, t-mac is also fed details of sunrise and sunset times at that location which allows control tasks to be automated so for example, external lights can be turned on at the exact time of dusk.

The technology specialists have seamlessly embedded these functions into the existing product portfolio, enabling businesses to further manage energy consumption efficiently using the combined capability of this feature. Using the Weather Feed will also remove the need to purchase additional external hardware such as temperature and lux sensors.

The second product being launched is t-mac’s new-look Energy Analysis software. Adding to the existing package available from t-mac, the new software includes a new home page featuring a calendar date selector tool allowing users to select multiple periods of time for easy analysis/comparison.

There are also additional data dimensions and comparison modes available to users including meter and date range comparisons as well as tariff periods overlaid onto profiles. A fully versatile system, it has been designed with the end-user in mind offering customised functionality from re-branding through to custom reports and comparison feeds.

t-macs new Energy Analysis software is faster than ever before and more intuitive, as a result of the new interface included in the software design.

t-mac works by gathering metering data, as well as energy consumption information, from sources of power, such as an air conditioning unit, and highlights the energy it is losing and wasting unnecessarily, providing businesses with recommendations on how to cut carbon emissions further.
