vphaseSolar PV installers can now maximise their earning potential whilst adding value for their customers with voltage optimisation. By combining the two technologies, installers can offer homeowners an even greater reduction on payback periods, improved return on investment and optimum energy efficiency for the home.

Voltage optimisation technology has been saving large companies millions on their electricity bills for years, but VPhase is the first technology available to the domestic market in a suitably sized and priced package. The award-winning, low-cost device reduces and stabilises the incoming voltage to homes, managing it to a stable level of around 220V in the UK. The result is reductions to electricity bills of between 6% and 12%, reduced wasted energy and carbon savings that range from between 2.5 tonnes to 4.5 tonnes over the expected life of the product.

VPhase Head of Marketing Matt Cody comments: “The introduction of the Feed-in-Tariff has sparked a surge in demand for domestic solar PV installations, which in turn has led to increased business opportunities for electrical professionals. By adding voltage optimisation to the solar mix, installers can boost their revenue stream even further and benefit their customers. VPhase will complement a solar PV installation and instantly add value, without any incremental time or cost implications. It is a fit, forget and save solution.”

For MCS installers, VPhase can provide clear guidance on how voltage optimisation can be scoped into jobs. It also offers free training workshops across the country, demonstrating a step-by-step installation of the voltage optimisation device and providing expert technical advice. The workshops demonstrate how the maintenance-free unit can be easily fitted by a qualified electrician within an hour.  As well as receiving hands-on training, installers are offered a 10% discount on any single unit purchased on the day and provided with supporting marketing literature for their customers.
