The world’s leading cable cleat manufacturer, Ellis has been awarded ISO 14001 accreditation – an achievement that recognises the steps taken by the company to significantly lessen its environmental impact.

Emperor cable cleats from Ellis have been specified for installation in one of the biggest construction projects currently underway in Saudi Arabia.
Ellis has set its sights on expanding its presence in the offshore and shipping markets following Type Approval of its market leading Vulcan and Emperor cable cleats by DNV GL.
Emperor cable cleats and ProTect cable straps from Ellis are being installed in the Areva European Pressurised Reactor (EPR) nuclear power plant currently being constructed in the Guangdong province of China.
Cable cleat manufacturer, Ellis has appointed former EIC director of consultancy and business intelligence, Dr Phil Goddard as its first specification manager.
Reports earlier this year highlighted a reduction in the incidents of copper cable theft from UK railways, but despite this there were still 2,700-hours of delays and compensation payments of over £12.7million in the 12-months to April 2013.
The expertise of North Yorkshire manufacturer, Ellis has helped secure a specification for its Emperor cable cleats to be installed in the central processing and living quarter platforms of the Zawtika Development Project off the coast of Myanmar.
