Emperor cable cleats, manufactured in Yorkshire by Ellis, have once again proved to be the perfect solution for a major international offshore project; with Campo Grande-based Prática Engenharia Ltda selecting them for installation on Petrobras’ new P-66 FPSO (floating production storage offloading) vessel.
The world’s leading cable cleat manufacturer, Ellis has secured a major specification for its Emperor cleats to be installed in the new King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA), which is currently being built 19km north of the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah.
Cable cleat manufacturer, Ellis welcomed guests from as far afield as Australia, Singapore and South America to its Rillington headquarters in North Yorkshire this week as it hosted its first ever Global Distributor Conference.
Ellis has secured a second major order for its Emperor cable cleats and ProTect cable straps to be installed in the Areva European Pressurised Reactor (EPR) nuclear power plant currently being constructed in the Guangdong province of China.
World leading cable cleat manufacturer, Ellis has launched Triton –the world’s first two-in-one cable guide and clamp, which has been designed specifically to assist in the installation and subsequent restraint of high voltage (HV) cables.
Disappointed that they may not see their cycling hero, Sir Bradley Wiggins in action at next weekend’s Grand Départ, staff at Rillington-firm, Ellis decided to pay homage to the cycling knight as they began the countdown to the Yorkshire Wolds’ Cycle Challenge on July 12th and 13th.
