RS wins Omron Electronic Components Distribution award PDF Print E-mail

rs logoRS Components, the leading distributor of electronic, electro-mechanical and industrial products today announced it has been presented with a special Distributor Award by Omron Electronic Components Europe. The award citation acknowledges the work carried out by RS, which will result in the distributor stocking the widest range of Omron Electronic Components available to purchase, stocked within Europe, with 3,000 products available.
RS has been working with Omron Electronic Components to develop dedicated Omron web portals (www.omron-rs.eu), implement ‘buy-it-now’ web referral links from the Omron website to RS and expand the Omron product range available from RS. Through the delivery of this programme, the reach of RS to customers across Europe has demonstrated to Omron how its integrated sales and marketing approach achieves continued customer growth.

Commenting on the award, Alex Grout, European Distribution Manager for Omron Components said: “RS has spent a great effort and huge investment in our partnership.  With the expansion of line-level buy-it-now weblinks, dedicated Omron portals and range developments, specifiers of our products can be confident that the widest range of Omron relays, switches, and connectors are available online from RS.”

For RS, Paul Webster, Head of Product Management, Electronics said: “Omron Electronic Components are a valued partner, and we are delighted to be presented with this award.  We’ve demonstrated that our customers trust RS to meet their Omron component requirements and with easy to use online journeys from Omron to RS, we continue to strengthen our ability to service customer demand across Europe.”
