Wilts, the UK’s largest independent electrical wholesaler, has boosted its online offering by creating a new web-shopping facility for private customers.

From 5 April 2011, the general public can purchase electrical products online at its new site www.nextday-electrical.co.uk . Traditionally, Wilts has always sold to the trade through its branch network of over 60 locations but saw the potential of selling directly to consumer customers over the internet. 
The site has been specifically developed for the end-user customer, selling products that have been carefully selected for their quality and value for money. Customers can pay via credit card and items will be delivered by carrier, directly to their door.

Kevin Burns, Wilts’ Supply Chain Director said; “Many consumers are turning to the internet to make their purchases and now they too can benefit from the buying power and expertise that we have as a business. They will have access to quality products used in the trade, payment can be made by credit card and orders will be delivered by carrier, making the entire process extremely easy. They also have the reassurance of a multi-million pound company behind their purchases.”
