Carlo Gavazzi have launched a contemporary range of elegant Italian designed glass light keypads using touch sensitive technology for the domestic or commercial environment.
The MasterGlass keypads are easily programmable and are available in different versions for lighting, dimming, temperature or blind control. Available in either black or white glass as standard or we can create bespoke colours to suit any decor, providing a completely unique design.
To maintain low energy consumption each keypad can detect the users hand as it approaches causing it to wake up and increase brightness showing that it’s ready for use. All keys are freely programmable to change set points or adjust dimming level, or be used as on/off functions. The keypads simply click into place on the wall box without the need for unsightly screws on the glass fascia. The function of each keypad is easily configured using the configuration tool. All switches are approved to cULus, according to UL60950 and IP 20 rated.
Kevin Sheldrake, Product Manager comments “Our range offers freedom of design and removes the need for traditional mechanical design switches and instead provides a modern, stylish look with elegance and control with the touch of a finger, offering a sleek alternative to traditional designs”.
The smart-house system can provide a control solution for lighting, heating and blinds, appliances can to be managed automatically to increase energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption and therefore cost, while maintaining comfort levels. Energy monitoring is standard, as is the potential to integrate with AV & alarm systems.
A complete range of components provide a complete control solution, all are connected using just two wires running throughout the building on the popular Dupline® bus back from a central controller. This low-voltage control wiring is inherently safe, easy to install, and allows new features to be easily added in the future. Outdoor equipment such as garden lighting can also be connected, for centralised control of the entire premises.
